The story behind Bloom & Repeat
Hi, I’m Therese. I started my creative journey dreaming of becoming a journalist, but everything shifted when I discovered photography in high school. Photography led me into graphic design and illustration, and eventually into a career as an art director and communicator.
How I fell in love with pattern design
A few years ago, I took a Skillshare class on seamless patterns — and something just clicked. The mix of structure, rhythm, creativity and repetition felt like home. Since then, pattern design has become a central part of my work and one of my favorite ways to create.
Helping beginners discover the magic
Most of my products are made for beginners and hobby creatives, especially those using Procreate. Many want to design patterns but struggle to understand how a repeat is built. Once you grasp that piece, a whole new world opens up — and I love guiding people to that moment.
My style and inspiration
My work is shaped by botanical forms, Nordic landscapes, and a touch of historical charm. I often gravitate toward vintage-inspired color palettes and create soft, romantic florals. Almost everything begins with a hand-sketched idea on paper before it grows into something digital.

Bloom & Repeat is my way of sharing the tools, templates, and techniques I’ve gathered over the years. I want my resources to feel approachable, warm, and helpful — created with clarity and experience behind them.
